“Complex aromas of blackberry, stones, cracked black pepper and tar. Full body with soft, round tannins and a juicy, fruity finish. Soulful and refined from this estate. This is a magical wine from Southern Italy.”

I turned 40 this year. What wine do you think i pulled out of my cellar to enjoy with our dinner? Yes, it was a 3L bottle of 2005 Terre di Lavoro and i couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable bottle. This was literally, up there with the most special bottles i have ever enjoyed. Whenever we get an allocation of these wines, i literally buy as much as is reasonable.

Here is what the Garagiste has to say:
Long-term Email List members (those from the 1990’s) continue to tell me
that the Galardi offer is the only sight-unseen purchase for them every
year. They support and enjoy a myriad of other offers (thank you!) but they
do not even read the Galardi offer – they simply take the maximum allocation
and go about their day.

Terre di Lavoro’s wines are bottles where you can literally taste and feel all of the time an energy that went in to producing them. To my taste, when at their peak, this is as good as wine gets. The terroir is exciting and every effort possible is put towards ensuring that the Terre di Lavoro is the best it can possibly be in each and every vintage. I am not an expert on all Campania wines, but there are not a lot of people using the grape varietal Piedirosso in their blend. Perhaps more people should be considering it as the results seems to be spectacular. I suggest you click through to the wines and read the tasting notes for the different vintages.

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE 2006 AND 2006 MAGNUMS

The wines are pre arrival, but well worth the wait. I could go on and on and on, but you get the point. If you want some of the best wine in the world, here it is. Buy what you can, you will not be disappointed. The wine is as good as anything i have ever tasted. The allocation is limited, so please order in a timely fashion.

We have exactly 4 x 3L bottles of the 2006 available. 1st come, 1st served.

I wasn’t exactly hoping for snow today here in Toronto, but here it is. Let WineOnline.ca brave the horrible weather for you. Not only that, if you place as much value on your time as we do, you will be glad to be saving all that time you previously spent going to the liquor store a few times a week.

Happy Friday!
