“Vivid and full of energy with blackberry, currant and salt. Full body, intense and long. Harmony. Purpose. Classicism. The mineral and currant character is all year. A seamless tannin texture. Great wine.”

We have been lucky enough to have gotten allocations on futures of the Pontet Canet back to 2009. This is right around the time Pontet Canet became a bona fide star in Bordeaux. People have been going crazy for this wine since then. The 2016 is opulent and will satisfy your inner hedonist.

The image above is quite fitting. It is almost as though Pontet Canet has been blessed with great wines over the past decade. Perhaps being at the end of the rainbow really is as lucky as lore tells us it is.

There is not too much to say here. Those of you who know this wine and can afford it will buy it. It is that good. The pricing is even competitive which is rare here in Ontario. As per usual, our allocation is limited and wines will be sold on a 1st come, 1st served basis. They are sold in 6-packs and will arrive OWC.

SCROLL DOWN FOR BORDEAUX WINES THAT ARE IN STOCK

The 2012 Chateau Noaillac Graves is now in stock. Most Bordeaux wine lovers consider the Noaillac to be the best deal to come out of Graves in every vintage. 2012 is no exception.

The blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot and a little bit of Petit Verdot is doing it’s typical job of being absolutely fabulous. Oh yeah, the 2012 Noaillac won GOLD at the prestigious Concours des Vins de Lyon to boot. At under $25/bottle, this wine is a steal. This was largely sold prior to arrival, so grab your cases now as it is not likely to be around long.

Want something with a little age behind it? We have the 2000 Charles de Sarpe arriving. As anyone that pays attention to the vintages of Bordeaux will know, 2000 was one of the best in history. Having tasted the Charles de Sarpe, i am well aware of just how delicious this wine is and will likely remain so over the next 5 – 7 years. This is a wine built to impress and does.
