There are a number of very important reasons for this email. 1st of all, time is of the essence as an LCBO strike is a real possibility. The deadline for the strike is June 26th at 12:01AM at which time, it is our understanding, LCBO stores will no longer be open for business until such time as the strike is resolved. For those of us that enjoy a glass of wine or 2, and do not have an endless wine cellar, this could create some serious inconvenience.

WineOnline.ca expects to be able to continue operations without interruption, but as we have to depend on the LCBO for a portion of our business, we can not guarantee that everything will remain available. We suggest, if you have particular wines you want to own, now is the time to stock up.

It is Canada’s 150th birthday this year. What better way could there be to celebrate, than to offer the best wine there is from Canada? Tawse winery once again won winery of the year in 2016. They seem to win this accolade in most of the years in which they have competed. Needless to say, the 3 wines being offered in the mixed 6 are some of the best produced by Tawse, they are from the 2013 vintage and are now in their prime.
