Renato Ratti has been making benchmark Nebbiolo for half a century, making wines in La Morra, from the Marcenasco, Conca and Rocche dell’Annuziata vineyards. The Ratti family name has deep roots in Piedmont, stretching back to the 15th century. The motto of the ancient house of Ratti is “Omnia Cum Tempore” or “All With Time”. A most fitting credo for the Ratti family of today as well.

TASTING NOTE / “Softly pliant and silky, the Renato Ratti 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo Ochetti shows fine and nuanced detailing with lots of genuine and delicate character of the grape. The fruit is subtle in this wine, but the bouquet affords more room to crushed stone, blue flower and powdered licorice. The wine’s finely shaped texture would work next to a simple plate of egg noodles and grated Parmigiano.”
