CHIANTI DOCG I SODI DEL PARETAIO 2020 BY BADIA DI MORRONA
Chianti Docg I Sodi Del Paretaio 2020 – a little gem of a Chianti – is met with roaring success every time we offer it. At under $20 a bottle, this is an insider value that is deeply impressive and straightforwardly delicious.
Badia di Morrona is among the oldest and most respected producers in the region, located in the centre of the Colline Pisane (Pisan Hills). Their origins go all the way back to 1000 A.D. when the local Benedictine monastery was founded. They craft extraordinarily traditional, long-lived wines that are admired by all, and when it comes to sheer value-to-quality nothing competes with their “I Sodi del Paretaio”—you can taste the Tuscan hills in this wine. Those who have seen Chianti firsthand know what an incredible place it is, and those who haven’t can easily be transported there through this bottle.
For a real treat, try pairing this versatile red with a range of cheese and charcuterie, or just as well with red meats and pastas. After one course paired with this Chianti and you’ll see why our members have awarded it an average score of 4.8 / 5 Stars!
