Duckhorn Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon is an Epic California Cab. This wine receives the same care and attention as Duckhorn’s iconic Napa Estate wines.
When Duckhorn purchased Ridgeline vineyards in 2012, it gave them access to some of Alexander Valley’s best grapes. These grapes allowed them to create this epic, value Cab. It’s pure Duckhorn and drinking beautifully right now.
2018 was an excellent vintage in Sonoma and offered beautifully ripe fruit. This is a blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 4% Zinfandel, 2% Petite Syrah, 2% Syrah and 1% Petit Verdot, The wine is aged in 40% new French oak for 10 months.

This is a wine that can bring you to your knees. It shows bold flavours of black cherry, raspberry, black currant. It hits subtle notes of dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. The tannins are well rounded and the finish is long and engaging. Duckhorn does it again!
