MÉDOC CRU BOURGEOIS BY CHATEAU GEMEILLAN 2014
Médoc Cru Bourgeois 2014 by Chateau Gemeillan is a sensational Left Bank value that delightfully marries supple Bordeaux fruit and its renown gravel terroir. It’s a classic example of this historic region that just so happens to be drifting right in the middle of a perfect drinking window. This is a low-priced, direct-import exclusive that tops the price-to-quality charts!
The story of Chateau Gemeillan is really intertwined with a love story about Adrien Uittewaal, a Dutch farmer and his young wife Fabienne, who decided the Médoc was the perfect place to lay down roots and begin their life together. On the rolling fertile meadows of this newly acquired property, they began raising cattle. On the shallow gravel soils, they planted grapes – and since their first harvest in 1995, this estate has been widely recognized for its consistent quality and dedication to sustainable agriculture and stewardship of their land.
This wine has the pedigree and class to add a touch of elegance to any meal or occasion—and delightfully priced!
