A LITTLE HISTORY

The winery is located in St. Satur, adjacent to ‘Clos du Roc’ vineyard (white, yellow, blue and black flint), which was owned by the Abbey of St Satur from 1450-1750 AD. The Mollet family has managed the estate since 1850, and it’s been in the Mollet family ever since. In 2000, the eldest son in the family, Florian, took over the estate with the determination to become one of the finest Domaines in the area. The estate has 11.5 hectares including the famous Clos du Roc de l’Abbaye vineyard in Sancerre.

This Pinot Noir is made with Florian’s winemaking expertise in Sancerre. Florian selects the most beautiful parcels grown on the clay and limestone plateau of Sologne Viticole region. He harvests only when the grapes have reached their full maturity. The result is a silky, smooth and refined Pinot Noir!
